jett and a few firsts

i spent the past week kissing this little man's forehead. i couldn't stop. something is wrong with me. besides not being able to resist the urge to kiss jett's forehead, even when sitting on the opposite side of the room, i experienced a few firsts, although mostly in my own mind. two of the three are rather hard to admit. 1) it was the first time a trip to texas has been relaxing. 2) it was the first time i've thought that someday i might want kids of my own. 3) it was the first time i've really thought that [someday] i might actually move back to texas. neither #2 nor #3 are going to happen anytime soon. but these are my thoughts nonetheless.

for now, work is my life. for now, jett [and his forehead] will be in pictures. for now.
