i'm so checked out at work right now, it's not even funny. texas is calling. and in a few short days i will answer. i'm in need of rest, but going to texas is usually not restful. i'm ok with it, though. if that's the price i have to pay to see family and friends, then so be it.

i'm ready to hug my mom multiple times a day. i'm ready to watch basketball with my dad. i'm ready to see what random crap my grandparents will bring with them from amarillo. i'm ready to drive around the neighborhood. i'm ready to walk through the doors of hyde park. i'm ready to catch up with my few remaining high school friends over a cup of coffee. i'm ready to drive over the 360 bridge. i'm ready to see my girls. i'm ready to see drom get married. i'm ready.
